Help - Member Privacy

As a member of The NPA you have the ability to determine what personal information is visible to other members, and what information is kept private. To review or change your settings - 

  • Sign in to the website
  • Click on Manage Profile (top of every web page)
  • Click on Edit Bio

Click on Edit Bio  

Each field with an icon in the left column is configurable, so that you can set visibility. There are 3 possible settings -

 

1.
Public - Visible to Everyone - Signified by Green Lock Icon 
2.
Members-Only - Visible Only to Members - Signified by Person with Red Lock Icon
3.
Private - Not Visible in Profile (only you can see this information) - Signified by Red Lock Icon
     
    Note: Setting options above vary depending upon your Member Type.  Not all settings will be available for every field, and generally, you won't have the option of making a field visible to the Public. Your choices will be limited to Members-Only or Private.

 

 Click Icons to Change Settings

 

 

When you're finished click Save Changes at the bottom of the screen.

 

Note: Changes in profile visibility may take 24-48 hours to take effect, while our servers re-index your changes.
