The purpose of this regional conference is to provide evidence-based clinical and professional updates for Nurse Practitioners from all specialties. The program will emphasize state-of-the-science care of patients in the face of the current opioid crisis.

Objectives: After attending conference, participants will be able to:
1. Analyze the current Nurse Practitioner workforce in New York State and implications for health policy.
2. Formulate evidence-based approaches to the diagnosis and management of pain syndromes and behavioral health disorders.
3. Utilize current, standardized coding and documentation guidelines to capture Nurse Practitioners' encounters with patients.
