Free Buprenorphine Waiver Training for NPs & Clinical Providers

The NYSDOH AIDS Institute, in collaboration with The Nurse Practitioners Association New York State (The NPA) and Harm Reduction Coalition, is hosting a Free Buprenorphine Waiver Training for Nurse Practitioners and Clinical Providers (Physicians, Physician Assistants, Pharmacists, and Medical Residents are welcome) at the 33rd Annual NPA Conference on Thursday, October 19th, 2017 from 12:30PM to 5:30PM. The training will be located at the Saratoga Springs City Center, 522 Broadway, Meeting Room 1, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

CME CREDITS: 5.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits will be made available for authorized practitioners.

Please Note: Online training is required and can be accessed here: www.cvent.com/d/c5qcbh This is the second part of the minimum required 8 hours of training, and can be completed within 30 days after the in-person training. Currently NPs & PAs are required to take an additional 16 hours of online training which is available on the PCSS-MAT website (Part 2).


NOTE: While attendance and registration for this training is free, you must register for The NPA conference here if you wish to attend any other conference events.
