Region 5 wishes to invest in the future by supporting students who are passionate about the advanced practice of nursing and dedicated to making a positive impact on healthcare.

Applications are due by: July 1^st, 2026, and will be reviewed by The NPA Region 5 Board of Directors. The Recipient will be notified prior to the yearly conference and announced at the Annual membership meeting, held during the NPA Annual Conference.

Application Criteria:

1. Enrollment in an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, Masters or Doctorial

2. Current overall GPA of at least 3.0 (B average). Transcripts may be requested

3. Current active membership to The Nurse Practitioner Association Region 5

4. Submit a 1–2-page essay describing your academic/professional goals and achievements.

5. Submit a copy of resume or curriculum vitae (CV)

6. Include two references, professional, clinical or academic, with two letters of recommendation
