The Treasurer shall serve for a term of two (2) years. The Treasurer disburses the funds of the Region as may be ordered or authorized by the Board and preserves proper vouchers for such disbursements; renders to the Region President and Board at the regular business meetings of the Board, or whenever they require it, an account of all transactions as Treasurer and of the financial condition of the Region. The Treasurer shall render a full financial report at the annual meeting of the Region and provide written updates about receipts and disbursements at Board of Directors meetings. The Region Board will appoint the teaching day chair. The chair will serve a two year term and shall serve a maximum of two terms. Members of the Teaching Day Committee are appointed by the Chair and consist of a minimum of three members. They shall serve as the local coordinators of a group events such as dinner meetings or other programs in their respective boroughs. Shall solicit and receive nominations for all Region 6 vacant positions. Shall review all applications for completeness and ensure that applicants meet eligibility requirements as set forth by the Region’s nominations policy.  Shall develop a slate of candidates for open positions and present them to the Region board on or about the September meeting. The committee chair shall communicate the open position to the Administrative Coordinator of The Nurse Practitioner Association of New York State to be posted on the NPA website for all members to review.  The committee prepares the slate of nominees, and presents them to the Board. If more than one application is submitted for the same position, the members of Region will vote on the slate.  Voting shall be carried out electronically. The committee shall notify the Region board and all nominees of the election results.
