The NPA is excited to celebrate our 35th Annual Conference at the Turning Stone Resort, Verona, NY, conveniently located 30 miles east of Syracuse at NYS Thruway exit 33.

This activity is approved for 33.5 contact hour(s) of continuing education (which includes 12.75 hours of pharmacology) by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Activity ID 19083819. This activity was planned in accordance with AANP Accreditation Standards and Policies.

Please note: Contact hours and pharmacology content as listed in the brochure may be subject to change based upon the final review by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Sessions that include pharmacology content will be indicated with an RX and total pharmacology hours at the end of the session title. The total contact hours (pharmacology hours) awarded will be determined by your signed attestation form.

Keynote Presenters: Shana Merlin & Dr. Rob Milman

Shana Merlin is an award-winning, nationally touring teacher and performer. Some of her clients have included Lockheed Martin, Whole Foods, Dell, HP, and ChristusHealth. In addition to being an affiliate at the Center for Health Communication, Shana is a lecturer in the Texas A&M College of Medicine and was trained at the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science at Stony Brook University.

 

 

 

Dr. Rob Milman served as a private practice radiologist for over 25 years and is a former partner with the Austin Radiological Association. In addition to being an affiliate at the Center for Health Communication, Dr. Milman is a Dean of Academic Affairs at the Texas A&M College of Medicine. He received advanced training in health communication from the Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science at Stony Brook University.
