The Executive Director (ED) is responsible for providing executive leadership for the Nurse Practitioner Association New York State (NPA). The ED is responsible to supervise the organization’s administrative staff and provide leadership in conjunction with the Board of Directors. This position requires working closely, and in conjunction, with The NPA BOD, Director of Operations & Education, and all the NPA administrative staff, to facilitate and assist the Association with meeting its mission and vision as well as ensuring continuing achievement of operational goals and objectives. The ED is the ‘public face’ of the organization in advocating for The NPA NYS and supporting its mission and vision goals.

The Director of Operations and Education ensures that the day-to-day operations of The NPA are efficient and effective. The position is structured two-fold. The first includes supervision of support staff, all bookkeeping activities and the coordination and oversight for most of the special projects for the Association. The second aspect of the position entails primary lead responsibility for the effective planning, coordination and management of all NPA educational events.

Membership and Marketing Manager

The Membership and Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of strategies and programs designed for recruitment/retention of members and re-engagement of past members. The position also provided administrative support functions, as well as planning, coordinating and maintaining a range of association programs, activities and/or projects.

The Administrative Coordinator will provide administrative support functions for Region/Group activities, serve as the first point of contact for the Association; provide administrative support functions to the Association on a daily basis, as well as within Association programs, activities and/or projects.

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for accurately maintaining the Association's membership database and fulfilling key clerical and administrative support functions associated with The NPA.
